Zoinks! Say hello to Scooby Doo, the cutest little shepherd mix with the most pawsome bi-colored eyes! Just like his famous namesake, Scooby is always ready for an adventure, whether its chasing after squeaky toys or searching for treats. This playful pup is still learning how to be a well-mannered doggo, but with some "Scooby Snacks" (aka positive reinforcement), he is sure to solve the case of good behavior! Scooby is also figuring out how to make friends with other dogs, so a home that can help him with training and socializing will be his perfect mystery-solving team. If you are looking for a goofy, lovable sidekick, Scooby Doo is ready to join you on all your adventures!

Additional adoption info
We encourage everyone interested in adopting a new pet to come visit the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter to view the wonderful selection of cats, dogs and small animals we have available for adoption. When you see an animal you are interested in, come in as soon as possible as we are first come, first serve and are unable to place HOLDS on pets over the phone.
Speak to an Adoption Counselor at our Adoption Center regarding your interest to adopt and they will advise you of the Hold and Adoption process. All pets adopted from our facility are microchipped, spayed or neutered and vaccinated for Rabies prior to being released to the adopter. This is required by Texas State Law for any animal adopted from an animal shelter or rescue group. We do allow out of area adoptions as long as the selected pet is old enough to receive these services prior to being released to the adopter.
