My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Puppy, a charismatic and self-assured feline who's ready to steal your heart! Although he came to us as a stray and his past remains a mystery, there's no question about his vibrant presence and unique personality.

Puppy is a confident cat who knows what he likes and isn't shy about sharing his feelings. He'll charm you with his bold demeanor, but he's also quick to let you know when he's had enough stimulation. This honest communication makes him a great companion for those who are familiar with feline behavior and can respect his boundaries.

Puppy is FIV-positive, which means he'll need a bit of extra care and attention. But don't let that deter you-FIV-positive cats can live long, happy lives with proper care and management. Puppy is seeking an adult-only home where his confident nature and straightforward communication will be appreciated. A cat-savvy owner who understands how to balance play and rest will find a loyal and engaging friend in him.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.

When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.

If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
