This pet was brought in by their previous owne.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Dixie is a sweet female dog who is shy around new people and needs extra time to feel safe and comfortable. Due to the stress of her current environment, she can be a bit reserved, but with patience and a calm, loving home, she will gradually come out of her shell. Dixie would thrive with someone who understands her need for a slow introduction to new surroundings and can offer her the time and support to fully relax. Once she feels secure, Dixie will show her gentle and affectionate side, becoming a wonderful companion.

This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
