Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pongo.  Young male Dalmation looking for his forever home.

Good with other dogs, not recommended for homes with kids, neutured, housetrained, microchipped, and current shots.

My bf adopted Pongo from a high kill shelter in TX 5/24. We recently separated and Pongo needs to be re-homed by 09/24.

-dog friendly, needs a few introductions before friendship occurs
-unknown with cats
-barks at new people, then wants to be friends (might be the GSD in him)

-strong boy, needs someone who can manage his strength for walks, can pull, best w body harness/halti
-has been nippy/reactive a few times when startled, no bite history. Shelter indicated possible fear based reaction
-fearful of vet, requires muzzle/relax meds for appts
- HW-, OTD on vacs., given tick, flea, worm meds

More about this rescue

We are dedicated to saving dogs from high kill shelters, strays, owner surrenders and hoarders. We have been saving animals since December 2016. We hold weekly adoption events at various pet stores and pet expos. We hire dog walkers to walk our dogs and we have volunteers who help us weekly. Many of our dogs go to boarding and training to become adoptable and work on their behavioral issues. All our dogs are assessed to find a great family match.

All dogs receive all necessary medical attention and all dogs are vetted.
