Meet Strawberry Shortcake, the ultimate love bug! She’s quick to flip over for belly rubs and always excited to meet new people. Her favorite thing in the world? Being as close as possible to her people—whether that means curling up in your lap, snuggling against your neck, or laying by your side.
Though she’s generally quiet, she’s recently started letting out little barks when she hears something new. She’s not one to make a fuss though! Strawberry adores her stuffies and will proudly bring them to you, or arrange her toy friends beside her on the couch. And don’t forget the tennis balls—she’ll chase them but likes to chew a bit before returning for another throw!
Car rides are a thrill for her, but she might try to hop into your lap, so a little pre-planning is helpful. On walks, she’s great on a leash, though sometimes she’ll get a bit too close to your feet. She’s mostly potty trained, only having a couple of accidents while adjusting to a new place. Crate-trained? Check. While it’s not her favorite spot, she’ll happily comply if asked. Plus, she’s been friendly with neighboring dogs and loves doing zoomies through the yard—especially if there’s a pile of grass to rustle through!
A bundle of joy, she’s all about love, toys, and adventure.
Strawberry Shortcake is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
