Hello, I'm Jackie but my previous adopters called me Junie! I'm a sweet, potty-trained pup who's still learning to trust the world around me. I can be pretty shy, especially around men, but with a little patience and kindness, I’ll start to come out of my shell. I get along great with other dogs, and I'd really love to have an older pup sibling to help me feel more confident. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d do with them.
I'm also kennel-trained and can sleep peacefully through the night. I know some basic cues like "sit" and "stay," and I really enjoy going on walks—especially when I have a routine to follow. Because I'm still working on my confidence, I’d do best in a home with older kids who understand my need for a little extra time and space. If you have a quiet, loving home and another dog to show me the ropes, I think we could be the perfect match!
Jackie was adopted as a puppy but was recently returned through no fault of her own. Her previous adopters took good care of her but she does require a little more patience than they were able to give. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
