My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Miss ABBA! This darling little girl needs a home. We saved her from the streets of Detroit a few weeks back. We believe her to be a Lab mix, but she’s quite short and only about 35lbs currently. We are thinking she’s about 7-9 months old. Regardless of her stats, she’s been a delight to watch blossom!

The ideal home for our girl would be -
🎤 ABBA is a puppy & still needs guidance. She knows some basics like housebreaking & crate training, but still is a younging & will need training on basic puppy things.
🎤 ABBA can get a little intimidated by men & random things she’s never seen (garbage cans, grills, etc) She will need a leader to expose her to regular life & let her know everything ok.
🎤 ABBA is in a foster home with cats & seems to do ok, but will chase if they run. She is dog social with proper introduction. We feel she would thrive with a confident dog in the home to be her buddy & show her the ropes. She could also be an only dog as well.

ABBA is just starting to know what a normal dog life consists of & she’s eating it up. She loves rolling in the grass, chewing on her bones & following her foster mom around the house, she’ll also do anything for some chicken jerky. She will be the perfect companion for many!

Additional adoption info

Anyone who applies to adopt must fill out an application. We will then review the application to determine if the applicant is a good fit. The next step would be a vet check to review the vaccine and medical history on any current dogs or ones that have passed. If that goes well we then schedule a meet and greet. An adoption contract follows that. Along with follow up phone calls after an adoption.
