My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.

I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.

A volunteer writes: I often console myself with some variation of "it's progress, not perfection," but that was before I met Tyga, who is, in fact, perfection. I was completing my tasks in Adoptions and each time I glanced up, I saw Tyga doing his best to follow my movements within the parameters of his condo. Walking to the far edge and trying to peer out, he'd see me off as far as he could and then, when I returned in his direction, he'd welcome me back with the same loving energy. Like a puppy who is still growing into their paws, Tyga goes big in floppy displays of affection. Proudly flinging himself into my arms to demonstrate his skillful nuzzles and cuddles, all Tyga seems to want is a little love. He could use a visit to the vet, but getting a lifelong friend like Tyga is a gift. He was brought to us because of his person's housing issues and is really hoping for a fresh start and a second chance at love.
