My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ford: The Toy-Loving, Critter-Chasing Goofball Looking for Love!

Hey there! My brother found his forever home, and now it’s my turn! I’m Ford, a 1 ½-year-old, 49 lb orange and white neutered male Brittany, and I’m still on the hunt for an amazing home filled with love, snuggles, and, most importantly, TOYS!

Why I’m the Perfect Goofball for You:

  • Toy Enthusiast: Did I mention I LOVE toys? Squeaky ones, bouncy ones, chewy ones—you name it, I want it! You can’t spoil me too much when it comes to toys!
  • Best Friend Material: I’m all about being your loyal buddy. Whether it’s playing with my toys, chewing on bones, or just being by your side, I’m here for it all.
  • Yard Patrol Expert: I need a physical fenced-in yard so I can run, play, and chase away any critters that think they own the place. They need to know who's boss (hint: it’s me).

My Dream Home:

  • A Family Who Loves Fun: I’m looking for a family that loves to play and doesn’t mind a little silliness.
  • Lots of Snuggles: I’m a sweetheart who loves to snuggle up and be close to my humans.
  • A Yard for Adventures: I need a safe place to run and play to my heart’s content.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, toy-obsessed pup who will keep you laughing and loving life, I’m your guy! Let’s make every day an adventure filled with fun and friendship. I’m Ford, and I can’t wait to meet you!

The adoption fee for OK/Ford, who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Ford  part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.orgContact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Ford.

Transportation can be arranged up to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.

Our Britts are housed in foster homes. We are NOT a shelter.

Foster homes are our lifeline to saving dogs. We have opportunities for fostering in every state and Canadian Province. Fostering not only helps the dogs, but blesses the humans involved too. Knowing that you are helping a Brittany find a forever loving home is a great feeling! If you can foster please complete a volunteer application under the Help the Dogs button on our website.
