For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Hi, I’m Simba! I’m a little over a year old, and I’ve got these bright blue eyes that everyone seems to love. I’m a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, full of energy and ready for fun. I get along with all dogs, kids, and pretty much anyone I meet.
When we’re out for walks, if it’s just me and my human, I’m pretty good on the leash. But when I’m with my pack, I just can’t help but get a little more excited and pull a bit more. I absolutely love playing with toys, especially when it involves a good game of fetch. It’s one of my favorite things to do!
I’m really attached to my people and feel a bit lonely when they leave, so I might sit by the window and watch them go, hoping they’ll come back soon. I’m crate trained, but after a while, I might start to whimper a little because I’d rather be out and about with my family.
When it comes to being housebroken, I’m doing pretty well, but sometimes when I get super excited or a little scared, I might have a tiny accident. I’m learning to let my people know when I need to go outside, and I’m getting better at it every day!
If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion who’s always up for an adventure, I’m your guy! I promise to bring lots of joy, fun, and maybe just a few happy barks into your life.
I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

More about this rescue
We started this small rescue in rememberance that rescue work is strictly about the dogs. We do our best to help save as many dogs as we can with our limited resourses.
We can always use volunteers and Foster homes to help us accommplish this task. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as well from $5 to $500 and they all go to helping more dogs.
