My name is Amelie!

Amelie is a really sweet girl that craves lots of attention, snuggling, and love, and will gladly give it right back! She's an energetic, playful and adorable friend who will attach with loyalty and lots of licks! We call her our shadow since she follows us everywhere.

We adopted Amelie five years ago, and due to work and life changes, we'll be spending much more time out west. Unfortunately, Amelie cannot travel with us due to extreme car sickness. She really needs to be with a family that is settled in one place with room for her to run! Though she doesn't tolerate car rides, she loves a good pickup truck bed, the dog park, and the feeling of fresh mountain air.

She is not a fan of thunder or fireworks, which make her very nervous, and needing extra reassurance. While she has lived with other dogs, she would probably enjoy a one-pet home the most as her smell is far better than her eyesight, and certain noises can be startling.

Amelie is ready to find her new forever home!
