Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kara and Celine came to Ferndale Cat Shelter with two other young males From Oakland County animal shelter. These kitties were discovered in a dog crate beside the railroad tracks in Pleasant Ridge. Apparently there were 20 animals in one cage. All tested positive for feline leukemia. Kara is only 5 months old. She loves attention and loves to play. Please consider opening your home to a feline leukemia kitty! Kara is currently being fostered with her new buddy Indy and we think they make a great pair.

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!
