My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maizy is a 3 year old Sheltie who needs to be an only dog. She just does not like to be around other dogs for very long. She likes an occasional short playdate and that is it! She does not like to share her food either.

She is a bit shy towards new humans at first, but she is so LOVING towards her people once she settles in. She loves to snuggle on the couch and sleep with her people! She has been doing great in foster care except for those other dogs. How annoying!

More about this rescue

We are Nebraska Sheltie Rescue. We've been in business for three years. Our focus is on Shelties because we love the breed. We have occasionally taken in a dog of another breed. We are not a shelter or facility. Our dogs are all housed in foster homes while they wait for their fur-ever homes!
