Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
12-year-old Walter is looking for a calm, loving home where he can spend his golden years enjoying the simple joys of life.
Walter would be most comfortable in a home with adults and older children. He used to be patient and tolerant with young children. But as he has aged and developed arthritis, Walter is now wary and sensitive to being touched by the 7-year-old special needs child in the family that adopted him as a puppy. As a result, they have made the difficult decision to rehome him.
Walter loves being around people, even if he's usually just sleeping. He can only walk once around the block these days, but loves car or stroller rides. He also loves scratches and belly rubs!
Walter is house-trained and makes use of a doggie door. He's comfortable being home alone, where he's content to nap and wait for your return. Walter is friendly towards other dogs.
Walter still enjoys the occasional swim, playing with his favorite balls, and savoring tasty treats. He's a gentle soul who would be overjoyed to spend his days with someone who appreciates his slow-paced, affectionate nature.
If you're looking for a devoted, easygoing companion, Walter could be the perfect fit. Please consider giving this senior the loving home he deserves!
