What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Ezekiel (Zeke) will be four years old on Nov. 1. We received him as a gift from our son at Christmastime in 2020.
Zeke is a great dog. He is gentle, has been professionally trained (when he was six months old), and is very well behaved. He's just bored. We dont have any animals for him to take care of, and he seems to be really wanting a job to do.
He'll need a securely fenced yard, as GP's are infamous escape artists. He hasn't gotten out in a long time--just noting, the fencing needs to be secure.
Zeke would love to have a female companion, but would likely not do well with another male dog.
Currently, I would not trust him around cats.
He walks amazingly well on leash, knows how to heel, and does not pull, if walked correctly.
He likes to hang out indoors when its too hot or too cold, but if there is a barn or other shelter where other animals are, that would probably suffice.
Great with children. Super gentle.
Great with people. Not aggressive. Intimidating bark.
