Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Brown/black tabby, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 3/12/24, #19149
Cats: must have playmate Dogs: unknown Children: cat-savvy older kids
Paprika was searching for food in a community cat colony in North County and found by a kind feeder/caretaker... who happened to be a Rescue House volunteer. Since Paprika was friendly, she was able to move into foster care, and now she's ready to find a loving forever home!
Paprika is an energetic, playful, athletic, and sweet kitten. She arrived solo but quickly became a beloved big sister to a younger group and happily blended in with them. Paprika has lots of energy for playtime! She loves running up and down stairs and scaling towers; she'll play catch when you throw little toy mice (she does sometimes bring it back to you, but not consistently). When she really gets the hyped-up zoomies she doesn't know how to stop, so her foster mom gently talks to her to help calm her down. She will purr so loudly when her foster mom comes in the room and when she carries Paprika on her shoulder. Paprika prefers short cuddles at this active time of her life and will let you know when she wants down. She still loves interaction with you, she's just a busy girl! Paprika plays with pretty much anything that moves and loves high places and sunny windowsills when it's time to rest.
Paprika must have an energetic feline playmate and welcoming companion in her new home. She has not met dogs. Since Paprika is very high energy, a household with babies or toddlers would not be a good fit. Cat-savvy older kids who understand that Paprika wants to play more than snuggle right now and who will keep her entertained would be alright.
Sweet and fun Paprika wants to bring laughter and good energy to your home!
