Tucker is an adult Chocolate Labrador/Terrier, Pit Bull mix, weighing in at around 80 pounds, with a heart as big as his paws. Born on June 3, 2021, Tucker is the perfect blend of gentle giant and playful companion. He's crate trained, house trained, and knows his manners-he sits, shakes, and takes treats ever so gently. Plus, he's quick to pick up on corrections and eager to please.
Tucker enjoys life's simple pleasures: car rides, long walks, and soaking up the sunshine. He has a soft spot for neck scratches and will happily lie in the sun whenever he gets the chance. A big fan of bacon, egg, and cheese treats, Tucker's love for snacks is only matched by his fondness for playing with stuffed animals and indestructible chews.

The Heart of America Humane Society is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization helping to place shelter and foster animals into permanent homes in and around the greater Kansas City metro area.
Our goal is to save and improve the lives of Kansas City's homeless companion animals by promoting responsible pet ownership. The Heart of America Humane Society (HAHS) partners with the Lee's Summit Animal Shelter (Lee's Summit MO) and KCK Animal Services (Kansas City KS) to increase pet adoptions into responsible, permanent homes.
