Meooooow! My name is Ozzy, and I’m quite a sweetheart, if I do say so myself. I’m a friendly, affectionate, cuddly yet playful Bombay mix fella with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat. As a Velcro kitty who enjoys being close to Foster Meowmy, when I get really comfy, I lay on my back as if I were doing a big stretch. Although I’m an energetic kitten, I do love my cat naps, and that's when I snuggle right next to Foster Meowmy’s thigh. I’m also a “mega-foodie” who’s only “high-maintenance” when my internal dinner bell rings and it’s time for my next scrumptious meal.
I was a frightened orphan who was found in Foster Meowmy’s neighborhood with no momma or siblings in sight. Thankfully she brought me indoors, where I joined another foster kitten Pebbles, who was almost exactly my age and became my “bestie” as well as my surrogate sister. Tumbling and pouncing, wrestling and climbing with Pebbles helped me burn my kitten energy.
I immediately bonded with my Foster Meowmy since she was the dispenser of yummy food. It took me about two weeks to trust the five resident cats, who became my surrogate aunts and uncles and taught me all the manners that momma would have if she'd been around. After a month I got acquainted with the two large resident cat-friendly dogs because I had to be convinced that they weren't predators. Thankfully the pooches are calm and gentle because sudden, chaotic movements may startle me, which hearkens back to my hardscrabble days when I had to fend for myself outdoors.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home where I can be cozy with my cherished hoomans and have at least one feline friend to be my playmate. Could that be with you and yours? I hope that my handsome photos and my endearing purrsonality have stolen your heart so that I can become YOUR sweetheart.
