Meet Sirius, named after the brightest star in the night sky, even though his coat is long and black. Sirius is a lively and playful cat, always full of energy and curiosity. You’ll often find him having a blast with his toys or eagerly greeting you with a friendly meow. He’s also a snuggle enthusiast who loves to cozy up next to you. Sirius adores his siblings and gets along wonderfully with other cats. He’s also excited to play with kids, making him a perfect addition to any loving home. Fearless and full of fun, Sirius is ready to light up your life with his vibrant personality.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

We have a short, one page, questionnaire that will be filled out prior to meeting the pet. We do not use the questionnaire to "approve".

2.
Interview

We utilize conversational adoption. Since we do not have a brick and mortar facility, we will do this via phone before a meet and greet.

3.
Meet the Pet

We will arrange with the foster parent a time that works for everyone and offer same day adoptions.

4.
Pay Fee

Our cat adoption fee is $110, $150 if you adopt a pair, and our dog adoption fee is $175.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Take the Pet Home

You can bring your own carrier or we can provide a cardboard carrier for an additional $5.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.

Currently, AGC is operating without a facility as a rescue group. If you are interested in meeting our adoptable pets, please contact us and we will coordinate with our foster families to set up a meet & greet.

More about this rescue

All God's Creatures (AGC) is a non-profit community service initiated by the First Presbyterian Church for the welfare of animals and people. We see an immense need for an animal shelter in Henry County. We also see the need to befriend socially isolated neighbors like the elderly, veterans, the incarcerated, and disabled. We believe our shelter and volunteer programming will give hope, purpose, and friendship as we connect paws and people. We are currently operating as a rescue while we raise funds to renovate our building and open our shelter doors.
