My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Kimi she is also one of the dogs that came in on dog control that was dumped in Fowlerville. She is such a sweet heart and a ball of energy. She just can't even contain herself when you pet her she almost acts like she has never been loved a day in her life. She is about 2 years old and she is good with dogs and kids. She is about 15-20 lbs so she is just a little squirt come meet her!

More about this shelter

The Lewis County Humane Society is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation which owns and operates a no-kill animal shelter on the Pine Grove Rd in Glenfield, NY. That shelter is contracted with the townships in Lewis County to house dogs brought in from the townships by the dog control officers. The shelter also houses homeless cats from the county.
Our shelter relies on the generosity of our supporters because shelter expenses far exceed our revenue. We greatly appreciate all your support which enables us to care for and find new homes for all the wonderful animals at our shelter.
