Meet Habanero, or "Habby" as her foster family lovingly calls her. This 4-year-old, small-to-medium-sized girl has a unique orange coat with a cream-colored muzzle and petite cream paws. Her adorable ears, which resemble a pigtail hairstyle, add to her charm. Rescued from a hoarding situation where she never received the love she deserved, Habby is now blossoming in her foster home.
She lives peacefully with two older large dogs and a young puppy, though she prefers to stay to herself and adores her foster mom, following her everywhere. Habby has made great strides in learning how to live indoors and enjoys the comfort of soft bedding, quiet naps, and peaceful walks on a leash.
While she is the sweetest companion, she can be territorial and tends to growl at strangers entering the home. She needs a patient adopter who will give her the time and space to feel safe and secure. Habby is also undergoing heartworm treatment, which will be completed soon. She’s ready for her forever home where she can continue to grow and thrive! Please visit our site at https://www.jennisrescueranch.org/ for more information on how to adopt. Prior to inquiring about our animals, we highly encourage you to fill out an application so that we can better assist you.
