My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our girl Lucy is 7-years young, bringing plenty of energy, enthusiasm and adventure to the party! Within minutes of landing at Lily’s, she discovered the pool and happily jumped right in for a swim.

This sweet girl was sadly picked up by animal control after her owner was evicted, leaving behind Lucy and another dog sibling. Her sibling was picked up by another rescue, but sadly Lucy ended up at the county shelter.

Despite all the changes in her world, Lucy remains a sweet, happy little girl. She’s eager to please, affectionate and captures your heart with her adoring gaze and long, soft ears. Lucy lights up for her favorite volunteers, showing her pretty smile and wiggling her cute little body with excitement. She rides well in the car, sleeping happily in the back, content to be along for the ride! She’s ready to find her new family who can take her on fun adventures by day and offer warm cuddles at night. We think Lucy could do well with a doggie sibling . She is a little too active for cats.
