CANTALOUPE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Cantaloupe        Best Guess for Breed:  Terrier mix, maybe Jack Russell type  

Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of September 2024        SEX:  Male

Approximate Weight: 12 lbs as of 9/15/24

Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested. 

Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; will come to the DC area. 

Cantaoupe is Looking For:  His forever home! This cutie is barely out of puppyhood and hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet. He's eager to get his own humans for sniffy walks and romps in parks and all the adventures they dream up. And his size is a huge plus - if he can't scramble over boulders, he can easily be toted over!

He also wants to make pup and people pals along the way, quality kibble, and a cushy dog bed. But you know what he wants most of all? To know he's safe and loved and under his own roof. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes and snuggles and loyal companionship. What do you say? Is there a Cantaloupe-shaped gap in your lap and your life?

What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster.
