A little bit about Bella Bo-Ella : - Potential for children in home. Limited history of interactions with children previously however there is a noted history of resource guarding that would need to be managed in home. All interactions should be carefully supervised by an adult. - No cats in home due to high prey drive and history of chasing cats - Potential for other dog in home pending successful introductions
Meet Bella Bo-Ella, a spirited 8-month-old puppy with boundless energy! This lively girl needs an active home that can provide plenty of mental and physical enrichment to help her burn off all that energy. To set Bella up for success, her adopters should be committed to working on her manners and managing her arousal through positive reinforcement. Bella has shown some resource guarding tendencies, but our behavior team has valuable tips to help manage this at home. While in her foster home, Bella has shown that she loves playing with the resident dog, but she can occasionally be over exuberant and get carried away in her play! Bella has previously shown that she is dog selective due to an altercation in her previous home, so if adopters have other dogs in the home, we would love to facilitate a doggie meeting to make sure that Bella will be a good fit. With her history of resource guarding, supervising and separating Bella and her potential dog friends will be important. Due to her high prey drive, Bella needs a home without cats or small animals. While her forever home requirements may be specific, we know that Bella is an absolute cuddle bug who loves her people and will bask in all the attention she can get! She loves to be right next to her humans at all times, and would be more than content to lay on the couch with a movie going or walking around the neighbourhood happily taking treats for her good behaviour. If you have an active yet affectionate household who can keep up with Bella`s zest for life, come meet this sweet lady today!
