Brandy is a sweet, extra snuggly, and energetic puppy who is friendly toward all the people and animals she has met so far.
Brandy loves playing with our two resident dogs and exploring new places with them. She enjoys wrestling, tug, engaging dogs in chase, and chasing balls. She plays independently as well and has learned to respect the pups' quiet time. Brandy is slowly learning that cats are not chew toys, but she finds their fluffy tails irresistible. When she isn't playing with her furry housemates, she loves snuggling with her people (preferably with a tasty chew). She always wants to be close and will often sit on our feet if we are cooking or getting ready for the day.
Crate training and potty training are in process. She sleeps and naps in her crate with no accidents. She is honest about when she needs to go potty and is sleeping at night 6-7 hours without needing to go out.
Brandy is in the puppy phase of teething. Keeping toys and chews on hand is a good way to redirect her energy. Food puzzles are recommended for her as she is a gobbler otherwise. She also loves the challenge of a food puzzle.
So far, nothing much fazes her, and she is always up for an adventure. She watches bikers, cars, and birds with interest. She is comfortable hearing blow dryers, sirens, and barking dogs, etc. She makes herself comfortable during car rides. We have started working on sit and touch which she thinks is a lot of fun.
