Meet Gumby is not just gorgeous - she is a living doll! Available for senior to senior too!
Meet unbelievably awesome Gumby, one of our newest and sweetest cats around. Not only is she beautiful, but she is just like having a lovebug by your side - as all our Raggy mixes seem to be!. She is approximately 12-13 yrs old so still just a middle aged kitty - many many years still to go - and she is quite a STUNNING poofy grey white SUPERMODEL girl. Even just had purrfect bloodwork done and a dental!! She loves people and kids and adores being loved and loving u back! Even loves the gentle dog she lives with. Sadly her family has had issues unrelated to her and have to move - she cannot go into the new housing situation. They have asked us to help rehome so that she does not have to go into a strange shelter and re adapt too many times - she has thus been fostered vs sheltered. It is just too stressfu and we wanted the best for her. Gumby is stunningly gorgeous and sweet, and a super sweet snuggler too. She is the best of all worlds and would love a home furrever!

Gumby loves to be a solo cat but gets along with other pets. She just becomes more cuddly and by your side with no competition. She does not like to be picked up but loves sitting by your side and is at our feet 24/7. A lot of cats don't like their feet elevated so that is common.

Gumby is available at a discount to senior citizens who have family back up too!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered - are fully vaccinated - and up to date on necessary vet care. Some animals that are listed are special needs might have chronic problems that the adopter would cover for future vetting, although this is rare.

More about this rescue

Welcome to Rock N' Rescue! We are a 501c3 cat rescue (and a few dogs!) based in Westchester County NY. Our goal is not only to save the lives of kittens and cats coming from high kill shelters, but to raise awareness of many issues concerning animal welfare. We also have a therapy cat program, providing special cats deemed gentle enough to be able to relieve stress for individuals suffering from illness, PTSD and other stress/trauma in their lives. All of our cats must go to an indoor only home and are not allowed to be declawed (unless they are rescued already declawed). Adopters are encouraged to post happy tales here too!

We also are happy to do custom searches if you are looking for a particular breed/mixed breed of cat or dog!
