Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Visi is a year old and 40 lbs. This girl has had a glow up. She was half naked when she arrived due to a nasty skin infection. Skin scrapings showed it was due to yeast. We don't know what she experienced while trying to survive on the streets, but it had to be a rough life struggling to find food and shelter. Someone somewhere loved this girl too. She came knowing "sit" and "shake."
As to her name, she was in a rural shelter where she was given a number instead of a name. We immediately changed that. She is named after a yeast many people like: Saccharomyces cerevisia, aka Brewer's yeast. It's used for making wine, beer, and bread (among many other uses). Since the name is a bit of a mouthful, we went with Visi.
This happy girl has acclimated to the other dogs in her foster home and loves to play with them. She'd do well as a solo dog or with buddies. Visi is housebroken, has nice leash manners, and is happy to be near her people if you work from home. She also came perfectly happy to have her own space and loves her crate when it is downtime. For her, chew toys are life. She loves them.
If you are looking for a dog with medium energy and one that's happy to be either lazy or adventurous, this might be your girl!
