My name is Ember!

Ember is a gorgeous Belgian Malinois/ Dutch Shepherd Mix. This fun and affectionate girl was rescued from the Martinez animal shelter where she was found hanging out politely with a small doggie play group. We don't know much about how this girl started out in life, but we love her for her friendly, eager to please temperment! Upon being rescued from the shelter, she hoped in the back of the car and gently made her way to the front to give her rescuer some gentle "thank you" face kisses. She rode perfectly in the car the whole way home to freedom. 

Ember loves people and affection, often leaning into them for pets. She also enjoys a good game of fetch. She is dog friendly with all dogs she's met, people friendly and kid friendly! She is learning basic obedience in her foster home including sit, stairs, and walking politely on leash. This pretty girl's perfect home would be living the good life with her people and other doggie friends. She's been an escape artist in her crate, so we think she would thrive in an active home that wants her to be a part of it!
