Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Morgan and I'm a special girl looking for a special cat savvy adopter. My sisters (Alexandria and Dorothy) and I were found out on our own and brought here where our rescuer knew we'd be safe and get adopted. The shelter environment is a big adjustment for us and we're each settling in at our own pace. We're in the open cat room (where cats roam freely with one another) and we're trying to get used to being around humans. I'm probably in the middle of my two sisters as far as shyness right now, I'm not as shy as Alexandria but a little more shy than Dorothy. I'd highly recommend using treats (these little packets called Churu are my favorite) to win me over. They say that earning the trust of a shy cat is an incredibly rewarding experience, and I think that's true. Are you the special someone I've been looking for?

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be a no-kill animal welfare agency. We are committed to finding great homes for great pets! As a 501(c)(3) nonproft, we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund our programs and services. We are not affiliated with any other animal agency on a local, state or national level. Since 1902, our organization has been devoted to being a voice for the voiceless. Although we proudly find more than 2,000 animals forever homes every year, we are far more than an adoption center. We currently have a wide array of programs to support animals in our community. Through our high-volume spay and neuter clinic, we are able to help pet owners as well as battle cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return. Our humane society agents also work tirelessly to protect pets from cruel and neglectful circumstances through our Cruelty & Neglect Investigations Department. Through our Veterinary Hospital, we can provide top-quality access to veterinary care at a low cost to pet owners. In addition to our many programs, our organization is unique because we are the only agency in the community able to handle all types of animals. This includes cats and dogs but also rabbits, birds, farm animals, pocket pets and exotics. Our organization is committed to providing our community, our state and our region with support and care.
