Lumpy is a sweet gentleman who loves human attention and playtime. He will thrive in a home with humans who spend time doting on him. He can be very focused and active during play, so a household with older children who can read cat body language might be the best fit. He would prefer to be an only cat, but he does OK with dogs. Lumpy has so much love to give, that he seems to long for a home and family of his own. He would love to meet you!

You may visit our cats at the Dancing Cat Cat lounge by appointment, or via Zoom for cats in foster homes.

Additional adoption info

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
