My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Big Tabby! Or BT, for short. This cuddly boy is a an adorably affectionate gentle giant. He is a hilariously outgoing guy who is definitely the leader of his litter; his siblings follow his every move! BT’s sparkling personality would make him a great fit for any home.

Since BT is still young, he will need to be adopted into a home that has another kitty friend to play with, or with another kitty from FFF. He would love to be adopted with one of his siblings! Especially Pepe, these two are thick as thieves and they love to cuddle and play together. BT is a very friendly and easy-going kitty, and he loves to play with other animals! He did well in his foster home with his siblings, as well as other resident cats and many human visitors. BT has not yet met any children, but he would likely do well with children who have appropriate adult supervision or with older children who understand cat behavior and respect his boundaries. BT has also not yet met any dogs, but he would most likely do well in a home with a dog as long as he is given a slow and supervised introduction! BT is a very adaptable young kitty who would do well in different kinds of home environments, and he is used to living in a busy environment!

BT is a very playful young kitty. He absolutely loves chasing string toys and laser toys all over the house! He also loves playing tag and wrestling with his siblings. BT has a very bold personality and he’s not afraid of anything! He will definitely keep you laughing. One story that his foster mom remembers fondly is from when he and his siblings were all being bottle fed. According to his foster mom, if he was being bottle fed and his siblings tried to get close to his bottle, he would push their head down with one of his paws while holding his bottle tightly with the other paw. This created a hilarious sight that his foster family found adorable. This little guy is food motivated and he’s not afraid who knows it!

When he’s not running around with the zoomies, BT loves to cuddle up on the couch for a nap with his humans! He loves to snuggle and he loves being pet. He particularly loves to snuggle up next to his foster mom while she naps. If you’re looking for a kitty who will keep you company and give you so much love and affection then BT is really the cat for you!

Are you ready to welcome this gentle giant into your home today? Big Tabby is ready to fill your lives with love, laughter and endless cuddles! Please contact us today if you’re interested in adopting BT or one of his siblings!

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
