My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our hearts hurt for Tank. His owner could no longer take care of him and his best friend Lydia. They arrived to the shelter on 9/1. Lydia has now been adopted. Tank is 11 years young and weighs in at 50 pounds. He is a sweetheart but is confused about his new surroundings. It is reported that he is good with children. He knows to sit when asked. He was an outside dog and could use a spa day. Sadly, he is heart worm positive, but with treatment, dogs who test positive usually go on to live long and healthy lives. Does your heart hurt for Tank? Would you give him a chance to spend his golden years in a loving home? Ask for ID# 661566 Run 829. He is neutered and micro-chipped. Ask the shelter about its "foster to adopt" program while a dog undergoes heartworm treatment provided by the shelter.

Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
