My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Anyone who has met Giles will tell you he is something special. They cannot quite put their finger on it, but his eyes speak and his soul is gentle. Giles is one of the sweetest pups you will ever meet. He is special in every way including medically. Giles was the runt but was never the under dog. Giles is the puppy that would know when a person or a dog was down and could be found curling up with them in their times of need. Any new dog that came in, Giles was sure to make them feel welcomed. He adores dogs and people, he loves affection and loves to romp and play outside. He loves to walk the beach or hike a trail. Giles does have a heart condition that is controlled with daily medicine. There is no answer as to whether his heart will last 15 years or 5. As of now the vet says he is happy and healthy and adoptable. Giles will receive one more echo cardiogram in the spring to ensure his medicine dose is still correct and the rescue will cover that cost. We know there is a place out there as special as Giles who will make him feel loved and welcome as he does to everyone he meets. All our dogs/cats are vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, on preventions, and spayed/neutered if old enough.
