Introducing the Beany Seaside!
This little guy is eager to find a new forever home. We think he may be a Dachshund/Beagle mix, but your guess is as good as ours. He loves playing bitey-mouth and tug-o-war with puppy friends but is happy to chill at times! Beany's foster family reports that he can be a little shy, but once he gets to know you, he can be affectionate. He loves squeaky toys, chew toys and running, but also slows down for some lap time or cuddling. This boy is as sweet as can be!
Being so young, Beany would love to find a family who has the time to raise a puppy. He is doing great with housetraining and loves his crate! He could use some work on his leash skills and think he will master this soon as he is such a smart boy! We strongly recommend that all our dogs - and especially puppies - attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and his human family. It’s lots of fun, too!
Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing them with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces. It takes a lot of time, energy and patience to bring up a puppy and it’s totally worth it!
If you're ready to make that awesome commitment to bring up Beany, then fill out an application today! Sweet puppy kisses and warm furry snuggles await!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality - not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
