Pancho has been in his Foster’s home about two weeks now and is doing great!!
He is up to date on all his shots, neutered, and negative for heartworm. He’s around 5-7 years old, 15 pounds. He was kept outside a lot before coming to us and we are so glad he now gets the indoor family life he deserves! Gets along great with his foster fur brother He got a bath this past weekend and did awesome! Doing great on his house training and sleeps great in his crate! Loves to be petted and snuggled! What a difference a few weeks in a foster home makes!

I had the pleasure of transporting this sweetie today and let me tell you he’s a love bug! He’s thinner than this pic and tried to get new pictures but poor guy had to have his neuter today so understandable he wasn’t up to it!
Just got up to date on all his shots, neutered, and negative for heartworm. He’s around 5-7 years old, 20 pounds. He was kept outside a lot but we want him to now know the indoor family life he deserves! Gets along fine with other dogs. Previous owners said he likes to dig and try to escape but I bet once he’s an indoor dog that may change. For safety though a fence is required.

Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else.
We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.

We are 100% volunteer powered. Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.

Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip.
Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.
Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. We do not have a physical location of our own.
