My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The ridiculousness that is Jefferson (aka TJ). He LOVES being outside. Doesn’t mind the baby pool. He just wants to be with his people and his dog friends. We are working on kennel training. He’s doing way better with potty training too! He would do great in a house with patient dogs and kids galore. He’s learning to NOT use this little puppy teeth except for good.

I’m not sure his ears will ever go down!

More about this rescue

Russell Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization. It was started in 2008 by Mary Ruth Rogers of Columbia, TN. Our mission is to save and re-home unloved, abandoned and abused dogs, especially the Jack Russell terrier. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters in Tennessee, and other nearby states.
