My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amaryllis has been with me a year , I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve seen her smile She is still very skittish and scared but more and more she is actually coming up and asking for love and attention , sweet girl

This little girl is not quite sure which end is up in her life. she is only 9 months old , was adopted out of a shelter as a puppy returned when owner had to go into a nursing home, adopted again brought back 2 weeks later because she was too scared and their dogs didnt care for her, adopted again and brought back 2 days later because she was afraid of men!

She is very timid but wants to be playful she is tinier than she looks only around 8 lbs, appears to house trained but who could blame her if shes not yet.

Available dogs are met by pre-approved adopters ONLY after a match is made.

The application is the first step. Please complete the adoption (or foster) application here: https://www.russellrescuetn.com/application-for-adoption/
