Bono is a dessert fanatic, consistent sous chef, mischievous little kitten.
Bono loves to be the center of attention and I constantly find him sitting atop my tall furniture
in my apartment or on top of the fridge- anywhere he can get high up and be “king of the
mountain” as I like to say. He also loves to stare at himself in the mirror, a tad bit of an ego in
this one haha. High energy, he needs a lot of playtime and activities/distractions- otherwise he
can get up to no good. He is intelligent and needs to be very stimulated so he is able to get his
energy out- otherwise that boredom can cause some mischievous activities. He can find himself
in all the cracks and nooks you didn't even know you had in your home unless monitored/home
is baby proofed for safety. He adores his toys and currently relishes a silvervine stick to chew on
and teethe into. If my introduction did not emphasize enough- Bono is a FOODIE! I do not
keep any food, vegetables or sweets uncovered or not inside the refrigerator. He will find it and
you will wake up in the morning with a trail of crumbs. I had bought an apple muffin once for
breakfast which was within a plastic covering, I woke up in the middle of the night to the
crinkling of the wrapper- Bono had found it and dragged it into my bedroom. I quickly grabbed
it and covered it with more foil and put it on the highest part of my fridge tucked away. Of
course I woke up the next morning with a trail of crumbs and this NYC large muffin had been
completely demolished. Bono does not play around with his sweet tooth. My mother made an
apple loaf once and turned around for a second, by the time she turned back Bono was there
taking a chunk out. He is a riot. Definitely a cat I think benefits from a friend his age group to
play with as I think he would be very bored and lonely without one. He currently loves his two
siblings and is always with his sister playing, cuddling, or tearing apart the apple loaf ;)
Of course this mischievous energy is all balanced by his sweet and tender disposition. Bono is
incredibly loving and wants a lot of love and attention from his owner. He is not crazy about
being picked up or bothered- he will come to you for all the love on his own time. He sleeps with
me at night and as I mentioned does not like to be left alone, unless he is with his siblings. He
does incredibly well with other cats and is also good with dogs. Bono is also very vocal and
talkative and will definitely let you know how is feeling. Bono is very determined, but
ultimately just wants to be a good boy. A true gem, he deserves the world.
