My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar came into our rescue after becoming paralyzed.

He had back surgery on 12/11/23.  It was quite successful.

This gorgeous 7 year old red short hair purebred standard Dachshund is about 23 pounds.  Oscar likes playing with toys, sleeping in the big bed, and just getting attention.

He does need a home with a yard as he has a loud bark.  Not a good fit for apartments or condos.

He does have residual urinary leakage and dribbling related to his previous IVVD incident.

This sweet boy is looking for his forever home.  Gets along with other dogs, and loves everyone.

If you're interested in adopting Oscar, please complete an adoption application on our website to be pre-approved:  www.dachshundrescueoflosangeles.com
