My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ham! Ham and Cheese are Sister and Brother, who along with their mom were pulled from a hoarding situation. Ham and her Mother, Sapphire tested positive for FIV, and Cheese is negative.

FIV+ cats can cohabitate together, as FIV+ is spread through deep puncture wounds and procreation. Ham likely acquired FIV from her mother during birth.
FIV is not spread through casual contact - Sharing food/water bowls, litter box or mutual grooming.

Due to a compromised immune system, Ham will need routine vet visits, immune support, and quality foods.

Adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, HCPCh, FeLv), booster shots of HCPCh, and FeLv, microchip, FIV/FeLv testing, and deworming.

Due to age, size and weight, this kitten will be adopted out on a "Foster-to-Adopt status, which means that the adoption will be complete after spay/neuter and rabies vaccine.
