Sha'Carri Richardson and her siblings were living in a shed in the community when they came to the Alliance (during the Olympics!) through the Community Cat Program. They went right to a foster home to work on their confidence and socialization. Although a shy kiddo, when she is comfortable, Sha'Carri loves to be petted and purrs like a lioness. Sometimes she even starts purring before you start petting her. She continues to come out of her shell and gain confidence more and more each day. And she has the most beautiful, striking coat color.
Sha'Carri loves other cats, loves to play, and loves to snuggle with other cats, especially her brother Quincy Wilson. She seems more confident and outgoing around people with a people-friendly cat around to mentor her. She is super athletic, can get wild and crazy at times, and can be a total goofball. She would prefer a more mellow and quiet home at this time. She is getting more used to being petted while on a lap, but still isn't a huge fan of being picked up/carried. Sha'Carri seems to be curious about the crazy dogs in her foster home and would likely do well with a calm, cat-friendly dog after a slow, proper introduction period.
