My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nicky is our tall, gray and dignified kitty. He's friendly with people (and our other cats, too!), but he's also very independent. We think he'll do well in a home where he can get lots of affection... and also some space when he wants it. Nicky has a deep, masculine "meow" that we get a kick out of! For those that are concerned about cats scratching, Nicky is front declawed.

Nicky also has a condition called hyperthyroidism. This is managed with a pill that gets crushed and mixed in with wet food, which Nicky loves! The pills are around $15 per month (or less if you order online and/or generic). Nicky has no issue taking the pill with his food, so it's an easy treatment. That said, we need an adopter that can remember to do this every day for Nicky.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application by going to our adoption application link for cats: https://tinyurl.com/86n482sp

After we have received your application, we will follow up with you and can arrange for you to meet the animal that you are interested in adopting.

Go meet their pets

We are by appointment only. No walk-ins. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application for dog adoption/cat adoption at http://www.crestwoodanimalshelter.com. Once your application has been received we can arrange for you to meet the dog or cat you are interested in. Please call/text us to set up a time to meet our animals after you have filled out our online application.

For donated items including dog/puppy food and cat/kitten food, crates/carriers, supplies, toys, treats, cleaning supplies, bedding etc: We are located in Whitecliff Park. Take main road up hill and on the right, just past wooded area, take this service road where you see "pet adoptions" sign to shelter (you will see the banners of cats on our building). Drop off donations in our secure outside weatherproof bin for our volunteers to bring into the shelter (please no sheets, pillows or litter boxes).
