My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Neptune is a playful and curious girl! With boundless energy and the sweetest purr, this lady can't get enough of playing interactive games with her human friends, especially when she is promised lots of cozy snuggles afterward. This silly girl most enjoys belly rubs and head scratches after a long day of jumping and climbing all over the place, with the occasional perch atop her scratcher! She also loves wrestling with other cats & dogs and would enjoy having a furry friend to keep her company.

Please note we only adopt out young kittens in pairs or to homes with other active cats to grow up with!

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
