My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a vibrant and vocal girl! After spending my day nibbling my toy mouse, I will happily lay down near you or drape across your lap for a comfy nap. I'm not afraid to do my own thing throughout the day and I confidently approach new experiences & new friends with a loud voice and lots of love to give! I enjoy wrestling and playing chase with furry friends.

Please note: We only adopt out young kittens in pairs or to homes with other active cats for them to grown up with!

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
