These 6 adorable puppies are available for pre adoption! While they each have their own unique qualities, they all absolutely love to be around people and play! We currently have 2 boys and 4 girls. The top left and middle are the boys Jasper and Noah. The top right is girl Mya. The bottom row are the other girls Piper, Sydney, and Willow. All puppies are Pomeranian/Basenji mixes and were born on 6/8/2024. We predict the puppies will range between 15-25 pounds when full grown, due to the various sizes of the puppies in the litter. Their dad is 9 pounds and their mom is 30 pounds. If you are interested in pre-adopting one of the puppies, please email the shelter at bahshelter@yahoo.com and leave a contact phone number for us to reach you at. Please do not call the shelter number about the puppies, email is the best way to contact us. Before the puppies are officially adopted, they will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on all the required vaccinations, and taking preventive flea/tick/heartworm medicine. As with all our dogs, the puppies must be indoor dogs, meaning they sleep in the home setting and do not live outside.

The Bulverde Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Founded in 1983 by Dolores Caldwell, BAHS is a no-kill shelter caring for up to 400 dogs and cats annually. The shelter resides on 3.25 acres of park-like land and houses indoor/outdoor kennels, a cattery, nursery/medical recovery building, agility fields, and fenced-in play yards.
BAHS is powered by volunteers and overseen by a Board of Directors. Our volunteers ensure the dogs and cats get plenty of exercise, playtime, and unlimited cuddles, love, and affection.
