Meet Oakley – A Sweet & Adorable Mini Aussie/Lab Mix! ❤️

Oakley is a young, lovable 2-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd/Lab mix, weighing just 24 pounds. She’s the perfect size for cuddles and companionship!

Needs a Foster ASAP While We Find Her Forever Home!

Why Oakley is an Amazing Companion

✅ Great with Kids – Currently lives with children (ages 4, 6, & 9) and does great with them!
✅ Dog & Cat Friendly – Comfortable around other pets, including a larger dog and a cat.
✅ Loves Belly Rubs – Submissive and gentle, she rolls over for affection.
✅ Easygoing & Adaptable – Would make an easy transition into any loving home.
✅ Playful but Relaxed – Enjoys running in the yard with her dog sibling but isn’t overly active.

Oakley’s Ideal Home

  • A loving home where she can receive the attention and care she deserves.
  • A foster home willing to help her transition until she finds a permanent family.
  • A family or individual who enjoys a sweet, affectionate, and easygoing dog.

Additional adoption info

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

More about this rescue

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.
