My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Empath! This sweet mama cat came to us with her two kittens, whom she lovingly raised until they were adopted. Now, it's Empath's turn to find her forever home!
When Empath arrived into our care, we discovered that her right eye was not fully formed. Our amazing vet team took care of her, and after a quick surgery to remove it, she's feeling much better! While she's still slightly visually impaired, Empath is ready to enjoy a life full of love. Empath would thrive in a quiet home where she can relax and be pampered. She loves gentle pets and affection, but fast movements can startle her, so a calm environment would be ideal. If you're looking for an empathetic, loving kitty to bring warmth to your home, come meet Empath at our Adoption Center!

More about this rescue

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
