Meet Jafar!

This handsome boy arrived at HSoP after he was found outside as a stray. The nice people who found him noticed that he didn't seem to be feeling well, so they brought him to HSoP to get some help.

Upon intake, Jafar was not happy about his situation! We feared that he may actually be a feral cat with the way he was moaning and groaning at us. Thankfully, it seems that the attitude was just a side effect of him not feeling his best. With proper nutrition and veterinary supervision, Jafar quickly made a turn for the better and started to perk up.

Now that he's feeling better, Jafar is an absolute delight to be around! Estimated to be about 2 years old, he's a chivalrous gentleman who appreciates a good chin scratch and ear rub. He seems to appreciate people and makes new friends with ease. He's a confident yet curious boy, always eager to explore new surroundings. At the end of the day, Jafar is a cat. He will get grumpy from time to time, but as long as you respect his boundaries, Jafar would be happy to be your new best friend!

We aren't sure how Jafar would do in a home with children, cats, or dogs, but we do offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption to help ensure a good fit for the whole family. He's already neutered and up to date on vaccines, and will leave HSoP with a microchip containing his new owner's information. Anyone interested in Jafar is welcome to visit him at HSoP. Our cat lobby is open from 2-6pm Monday through Saturday, and dog kennels close at 5pm. Visit us at 2019 E White Ave Moscow, ID 83843! Jafar's adoption fee is just $100.
