Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - BONDED PAIR - ANNIE & LYLA
BREED - Maltese/Yorkie mix (Annie), Border Terrier/Yorkie mix (Lyla)
SIZE - About 10 pounds each
AGE - 5-6 years (both)
GENDER - Female
MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known
BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Annie and Lyla are a bonded pair of precious little girls who have lived their entire lives together. Unfortunately their owner is very ill and is unable to keep them. We are grateful to have an opportunity to find these sweet gals a new family who will offer them all the love and consideration given in their previous home. We will consider adopters who are willing to make certain these two always stay together. They stay side by side all day. Both are very quiet and gentle and wish to be right with their person. They will make wonderful companions. We believe they would be best served in a quiet, predictable home without larger pets and without small children. We are seeking a home with a private, fully fenced yard. Annie and Lyla are in good health, spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. The adoption fee for the pair is $375.00.
Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the girls and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet Annie and Lyla at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the them and determining that they match your preferences for pets, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner. More information on our website at www.carerva.com.
