Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dino!
A spirited German Shorthaired Pointer mix from Lula, GA, who’s bursting with energy and affection, wrapped in a stunning coat of white with black patches and speckles.
At four-and-a-half-years-old, Dino is a medium-sized bundle of joy, weighing in at a sturdy sixty-five pounds. His playful nature and constant need for companionship make him the perfect partner for someone who loves adventure and has a fenced yard where Dino can let loose and enjoy life to the fullest!
Dino’s absolute favorite thing in the world is playing fetch—he’ll chase a ball or his beloved rope bone until he’s completely tuckered out! His boundless energy and enthusiasm mean he’s always up for a game, a long walk, or just about any outdoor activity that gets him moving. While he’s mastered the basics like “sit,” “stay,” and “crate,” Dino could benefit from some additional training to help channel his exuberance into positive behaviors.
Dino thrives on routine, and he’s happiest when he knows what to expect. He enjoys several walks a day, where he can explore his surroundings and burn off some of that energy. While he’s perfectly content to be left alone for short periods, Dino does get anxious if left alone for too long, so he’ll need a pet parent who can spend plenty of time with him.
Although Dino hasn’t had much experience with other dogs or cats, he’s a sweetheart who just wants to be loved. One of the most endearing things about Dino is his love for peanut butter—it’s his favorite treat, and he’ll look at you with those big, hopeful eyes until you give in and share some with him. Dino also has a protective streak, and while he’s never shown any aggression, he will bark to let you know when someone’s at the door.
Dino’s ideal home would be one where he can run and play safely, ideally with a fenced yard. He needs a family who understands his high energy levels and can provide the exercise and stimulation he craves. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will keep you on your toes and bring endless joy to your life, Dino is ready to meet you!
